COVID-19 has pushed many in Montclair and nearby into a food crisis. The restaurants that make our town special are also in pain. Here’s a way to help both.
Last year, Toni’s Kitchen made about 4,000 meals a week for the food insecure. That number has now quadrupled.
Ilson Goncalves, Montclair resident and owner of Samba, Montclair’s only Brazilian restaurant, has offered to prepare a delicious, ample Samba dinner for clients of Toni’s Kitchen for $20 a meal.
The entire donation goes to cover food and labor costs. Toni’s Kitchen will send you a receipt.
