Please Donate for a Sturdy Bin for Project Pet Pantry
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Tammy, and many of you know me from Tammy's Pet Sitting. In 2023, I partnered with Daniel's Table in Framingham to create a food pantry for animals. The Framingham community suggested names and then voted for their favorite. This is how Project Pet Pantry was started. Daniel's Table is very graciously sharing their space outside for Project Pet Pantry to exist, and also holding donations inside that come from Amazon. Other donations are put inside the bin directly by donors.
Project Pet Pantry is completely run by volunteers. Framingham Girl Scout Troop 67220 has been incredibly supportive of Project Pet Pantry since its beginning. The girls and their Troop Leaders have not only worked hard to fundraise, purchase, and build a bin for supplies, but also did a lot of promotional work as well.
Sadly, Project Pet Pantry's original bin for pet food and supplies was hit by a truck and damaged beyond repair. That is when the Girl Scouts built a new one. That one, also, was hit by a vehicle and lost a door. From there, the wind blew the door off and broke the pieces that kept it together.
We are in desperate need of a new bin. We are hoping to purchase a bin that will be able to remain closed with wind, and keep the products safe and dry inside. The bins are not terribly expensive, so we are only asking for $200. This way, we can purchase a really good quality bin that will last for a long time. Any remaining money will be used to purchase pet food supplies, to put inside the bin for those in need.
Thank you to everyone who has donated and supported Project Pet Pantry in the past, and to those who are willing to help us purchase a new bin.
With much gratitude,
Tammy/Tammy's Pet Sitting and Daniel's Table
