Support Adam’s Fight Against Leukemia

Donation protected
In December of 2024, Adam's life changed overnight. What started as a sore throat quickly turned into an urgent medical crisis 5 days later. After an ER visit where he underwent multiple tests, he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), an aggressive blood and bone marrow cancer. He was immediately admitted to the cancer unit at Massachusetts General Hospital right before Christmas, where he spent 37 days receiving care.

Adam began chemotherapy on December 22nd and has been fighting with strength and determination ever since. The good news is he’s responding well to treatment, and there is a chance for a cure—a bone marrow transplant. This life-saving procedure is his best shot at long-term recovery, but it comes with serious risks, a lengthy and challenging recovery process, and an overwhelming financial burden.

Through all of this, Adam has maintained an inspiring positive attitude and a great sense of humor. His care team at MGH has been exceptional, guiding him through treatment with expertise and compassion.

Now, with a bone marrow transplant on the horizon, Adam faces his biggest challenge yet. He will require extensive medical care, months of rehabilitation, and ongoing treatment to prevent complications.

Adam is an amazing husband, friend, son, and colleague. He tackles challenges head-on—including walking 26.2 miles, the distance of the Boston Marathon, during his first stay in the hospital. Known for his infectious laugh and big bear hugs, Adam always shows up for the people he loves and brings warmth to everyone around him. We want to do the same for him as he continues this fight.

How You Can Help:

The next few months will be difficult, both physically and financially. Adam has been out of work on medical leave since his diagnosis, and while he and his wife, Cassie, have some family nearby, much of their support system is spread across different states. We’re rallying around them to ensure Adam can focus entirely on healing—without the added stress of financial worries.

We’ve set a goal to help cover:
  • Lost wages during treatment and recovery
  • Medical expenses, including the bone marrow transplant
  • Additional out-of-pocket costs

Every donation, no matter the size, brings Adam one step closer to recovery. If you cannot contribute financially, sharing his campaign, your favorite song, or a word of encouragement means the world.

Thank you so much for supporting Adam in this fight.
