Donate for Azzy's Lifesaving Care

Hello, my name is Shaleena and this is my sweet baby boy Azzy. We got him early December after the heartbreaking loss of our sweet girl Asche in July to cancer, he brought a whole new light to not only his human family but his older brother as well. He is a 14 week old puppy who chewed up and ingested a AA battery. He is currently getting the emergency care needed and actively in surgery, but we really need help raising funds to pay for this emergency visit.

Any funds raised here will go directed to his care at Sugarhouse Veterinary Hospital to pay for his medical bills

Funds will be used to pay the veterinary hospital directly for his surgery, hospitalization and after care. Azzy will require multiple blood tests due to parts of the battery still being in his large intestine

He is currently home with us during the night but visiting the veterinary hospital every day for monitoring and follow up checks with the doctor. He has a pretty unpredictable GI issue now and currently seeking treatment to try and get it under control. We are unsure if it’s going to be a life long issue.

UPDATE: Azzy is doing great, we have done a follow up radiograph and it looks like all metal pieces have been passed. His blood work is looking good but will need to be monitored as we go forward.
