Donate for Bill's Post-Surgery Expenses

Hi everyone! my name is Beth Artice. Some of you know my father Bill (William) VanMeter. He is a graduate of Allegany High School class of 1985 and had been a volunteer fire fighter and line officer for 41 years. He recently had to undergo triple bypass surgery and it was very unexpected for our family and has put a strain on my mother and father as well as my siblings. During his surgery they had made an incision on his right leg but were unable to remove the artery needed to perform the surgery, so he had to have an even larger incision done on the left leg. He is also diabetic which causes very slow healing and difficulty recovery quickly. My father is a disabled veteran on fixed income and my mom is having to take off work to care for my dad and take him to therapy and doctors' appointments. it has become difficult to keep up with day-to-day expenses as well as the upcoming out of pocket expenses, home Maintenace expenses as well as trying to pay those who are helping and taking care of him while he is recovering. With these unexpected expenses arising and my mom having to take off work to care for our dad, as well as my sister, we are asking for donations to help ease the burden and to allow my parents some cushion to help lower the stress and allow my dad a smooth recovery.
