Chris's 25th Birthday Celebration

I want to start off by thanking anybody who takes the time to read this and is willing to help us. Chris was such a kind-hearted person who never got in fights, never walked around with guns, and never went looking for any trouble. He was shot six times in the chest outside Stewart's rest spot on 14th and Atkinson at 2am on June 23rd and unfortunately didn't make it through surgery. We haven't heard much from the detectives but what it sounds like at this time is he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

We're all struggling with our grieving process right now. His brothers and sister, mother and father, and the rest of our extended family have come together to remember Chris whose life was unfortunately taken at the young age of 24. We are asking anybody who's willing to help donate to his funeral costs so we can give him the best homegoing that we can. We know he's in good hands in heaven with his grandfather who he loved so much.

We are all terribly heartbroken and we just want to say thank you to anybody who's able to donate anything. He did not deserve this. He did nothing to cause this. He was an innocent bystander who got caught in the crossfires and lost his life. We just want a celebration of life for him that we all know he deserves.
