- Monday February 12, 2024. We took in 2 rescue mini pigs. Crimson and Clover. On our trip home we discovered that Clover had a uterus prolapse. The vet thinks this is due to their lack of nutrition and straining to pass stool (as well as her petite size). Clover has now been to the vet twice for repair. The first was on her day of arrival and again today Saturday the 17th. As of right now she is on good track but it has been advised that spaying is in her near future #1. to prevent any more medical issues down the line #2. With her current issues it may help relieve pressures for her to have a safe and whole recovery. We took in these pigs to help them and give them the best chance they can have to have lots of space and love on our small "hobby" farm but due to the conditions presented we just are seeking a bit of help to make sure she can get the upcoming procedure she needs without too much wait, and to help us recoup some of the unexpected cost we've endured to save her life!. Any thing helps this little gal keep moving in the right direction! We appreciate everyone that's followed our journey with Ms. Clover so far.
