My dog Cricket was recently diagnosed with Intervertebral Disk Disease and it has progressed quickly. What began as pain and lethargy quickly developed into paralysis of her hind limbs in the span of a week. On 3/3, shortly after her paralysis began, she was taken to UC Davis' Animal Hospital and has since undergone emergency surgery for her best chance at recovery.
