Helping injured firefighter recover and provide Christmas

Hi there, my name is McKenzie and I am starting this to help my cousin and her family. After losing a majority of their belongings in a house fire a little over a year ago, they've suffered another catastrophic event. If you don't already know, Zac is a firefighter with Tri-Township fire department. Alongside many other of his own family members. However, last night as he was assisting the department on a mutual aid call to Chesaning- Brady for a structure fire, the catwalk he was on while battling the blaze gave out from under him and he fell 20 feet. Landing on his back with nothing to break his fall. As of now he has three known fractures in the spine. He is still awaiting information from doctors that clearly define the extent of the injuries. We do know he is moving his extremities, but unsure of ability to walk as he isn't allowed to get up right now.

I am asking you all to donate if you can, and share if you can't. Having just left his job a few weeks ago for a better opportunity, he is left without benefits to cover his loss in wages while he will be recovering. Additionally, Sarah will need to be off for much of the time for assistance in his recovery. Additionally, they have 3 kids to plan a Christmas for on topnof medical recovery. They could not have been prepared for this extensive of a situation.
