Donate for Mariah's Mental Health Recovery

Hello, my name is Angelina Ofray-Pizarro and I am mother to Mariah Genesis.

On 2/7/2025, my then 12-year-old daughter made her first attempt to commit suicide due to bullying in school and online. Mariah was admitted for in-patient psychiatric crisis intervention. After a week, she was discharged to a Partial Hospitalization Program to try to rehabilitate her back into some type of normalcy. Unfortunately, my daughter went on to attempt suicide 2 times more between February and March. My husband and I have 2 additional school-aged children, and we both had to take Family Medical Leave to take care of Mariah full-time around the clock while still trying to keep things together and put up a royal front during these hard times.

Mariah’s now being referred to Newport Academy Behavioral Health Residence to receive the highest level of care that’s being recommended by her clinicians.

With Mariah’s Partial Hospitalization Program and 6 emergency crisis hospital stays in such a short time, we are struggling to keep our roof over our heads, utilities, and food on the table while having to pay for medical bills that just continue to pile up.

Mariah is scheduled to start her new journey towards rehabilitation this upcoming Tuesday, 4/8/25. I have been notified at the last minute that a $3,000 deductible needs to be met ahead of the admission.

Please help support Mariah’s wellness journey. This has broken me as a mother and my family. I can’t give up on her. Mariah has so much to live for, and I look forward to having my baby back happy and healthy.
