Donate for Selah's Care: A Tribute to Kalani Parnell
Donation protected
In memory of Kalani Parnell.
So many of you have been asking about ways to help.
Kalani’s first and most important job was father to Selah.
As many of you know, she’s special needs and will need care for the rest of her life.
Selah was diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis at age 1. She has tumors in her brain, kidneys, and possible lung spots. Selah has had three brain surgeries, and her left kidney was removed last year. She is closely monitored, with brain and abdominal MRIs. Due to the tumors in her brain, she has a seizure disorder, which she takes multiple medications to try and control. Selah is non-verbal and non-communicative. She requires 24-hour care. And will require care for the remainder of her life.
She is our angel. Her smile and laughter fill the world with joy. She is pure innocence.
Any and all donations will be for her, in the form of loving memorials dedicated to her father.
The outpouring of love and support we’ve already received has been humbling.
Kalani was loved by so many people across the country that knew him or had the pleasure to meet him. He was a presence you didn’t forget.
We are all struggling to find the new normal without Kalani.
There will be a Memorial/Celebration of life here in Alaska on October 26th, at the Alaska Native Heritage Museum.
