Hey, my name is Monica Johnson and I’m the youngest daughter of my mother. My Mom's name is Sharon Murphy, she is my everything. Although she will not be on this earth much longer, she is transitioning over on Saturday and I am very lost, hurt, and depressed. My mom has been feeling so alone due to her husband, on the right side of the picture, being involved in a car wreck last year. He is still now today facing intensive care. It’s been so horrible for my stepdad, he was a well-rounded, healthy, hardworking man. He is now still paralyzed from the neck down and still on a ventilator, among other difficulties. Each day it’s a challenge, but to know he's now going to face life without his loving wife is devastating. My mom was admitted to ER on May 28 this year due to too much fluid around her heart that was drowning her, preventing her from breathing. My mom's last words she stated were the LORD’s PRAYER and FORGIVENESS OF HER SINS. Seconds later, she went into cardiac arrest, she was out over the time for getting a pulse. She was diagnosed with severe anoxic brain damage and her family was told she wouldn’t make it and her body will never be the same. We have knowledge of believing in God and we still do, so we kept faith in keeping her here. Over time, they had to transfer her due to her insurance stating no one in Memphis, TN that takes her insurance wanted to continue her care. She has been moved to another city but in the same state and the poor news at the beginning of the week is she's facing a TERRIBLE INFECTION IN THE BACK OF HER BODY AND IT'S NOW KILLING HER. The family and I were told she is getting worse each day, her body is not taking the antibiotics, and her body is going into shock sometimes. Her brain damage is still not good and every day she is now facing more harm than good. The family has been informed by her doctor to make a decision to let her go the natural way and at peace . Her family has decided to let her go in PEACE. So on Saturday, we will make our round to visit her and say our farewells and love on her once again. God said LET HIS WILL BE DONE AND WE BELIEVE HER WILL IS DONE. MY MOM LIVED A GOOD LIFE WITH THE HIGHS AND LOWS. SHE TRULY IS A DEFINITION OF A REAL BEAUTIFUL QUEEN, A BOSS, A GO-GETTER. SHE WAS AFRAID OF NO ONE BUT THE LORD. SHE WAS ONE OF GOD'S PEOPLE, A SPECIAL KIND OF LADY THAT WOULD GIVE YOU HER LAST. SHE COULD PULL MANY RABBITS OUT OF HATS. OH YEAH, SHE MADE A WAY FOR ALL HER LOVED ONES AND SOME MORE. SHE IS THE LIFE OF THE PARTY. IT'S NEVER A DULL MOMENT WHEN YOU'RE AROUND HER. SHE WAS ONE OF THE FAVS. IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW HER, NOW YOU DO. I'M GOING TO MISS HER AS WELL AS MY SIBLINGS. So, I REALLY ASK AT THIS HARD TIME OF MY LIFE AND MY SIBLINGS' LIVES, WE ARE ASKING FOR SMALL DONATIONS TO BE MADE FOR MY MOM'S HOMEGOING SERVICE.
