Donate to The Dome at Gate City Harvest

In just a couple of weeks, the fabrication of a 42'-diameter geodesic dome will be complete and ready to ship to Gate City Harvest and house classes for The School at Gate City Harvest

The dome will be an open gathering space where we will host classes, events, small concerts, conferences, and many other community gatherings. It will be nestled in the back field of a small, locally-owned farm that represents the best of a sustainable mindset: one focused on community, permaculture, hard work, beauty, and joy.

At a time when we are more disconnected than ever before from each other and from our natural world, we believe small schools focused on the beauty of human life are imperative to our future. We believe in educating young people in philosophy and sustainable agriculture, through great literature and the study of ecology.

Gate City Harvest models the belief in a purposeful, selfless life of work, beauty, and joy in community.

We had a very generous member of our team offer a generous advance of $10,000 to get the dome ordered. Now, just $5 or $10 from each of our friends will get us to our goal and get the dome delivered on site by early August...

Then... who wants to help us assemble it?!?! :)
