Donate in honor of Christy Alvarez

Christy Alvarez passed in the early morning of November 5th, surrounded by her family and God. Christy walked the Earth as her namesake would suggest, a true embodiment of Jesus Christ: a life filled with love and sacrifice.

She was a cherished sister, friend, daughter, and wife. But first and foremost, Christy was a remarkable mother of 6. She leaves behind her husband, Antonio: children Jasmina (31), Marco (29), Mercedez(28), Olivia(14), Nicassio(12), and Feliciana(7): two grandchildren Jesse James and Julian: mother, Evelyn: brothers Victor and Carlos. And a dear friend who was like a sister, Trudy. None of which were prepared for the sudden loss of a matriarch who held so many together.

It is wished that no family should have to worry about medical bills, funeral costs and burial expenses through the grief and turmoil that sudden death brings, but unfortunately, that is not the case. And as Christy was the primary caregiver of 3 young children, future childcare and expenses are also a significant concern.

Today we call upon our loved ones and community and humbly ask that you donate what you can to the Alvarez family in honor of their beloved mother. Every donation will help lay Christy to rest and bring the gift of financial safety so the family may have space to both mourn and celebrate the life of their mother, wife, daughter and sister.
