Donate In Love For Our Beloved Dallas Collett

Hi, my name is Sam Stilley. I first met Dallas Collett when I was 14 years old. I was a frequent visitor to the hobby store he had opened during his time with Gamesworkshop. During that time, I would frequent the store almost every day for years. Dallas became someone who I looked up to, respected, and enjoyed hanging out with because of how genuine and awesome he was. I feel comfortable saying this, that everyone loved Dallas. He made everyone feel special.

Fast forward years later, at the Age of 29 I decided to open a hobby store. I would not open a hobby store though unless one person ran it, Dallas. I contacted him after 8 or 9 years of no communication and he was ecstatic to pursue his dream job again. Dallas moved back to Houston and built The Forge Hobbies & Games. I will tell you the past 2 and a half years have been some of the best memories for me. Dallas became my brother, but also like an uncle I could talk to and get advice from. He always had a way of making me feel important and happy. Dallas was the type of man that would give his shirt off his back and the last dollar to his name to help his fellow man.

The world does not have many people like Dallas; infact I believe its a blessing I was able to even have this short glimpse of time with him. I will miss Dallas, I miss him so much already. The world lost an amazing man, but Heaven gained an incredible angel. Dallas was a believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that gives me comfort. I know I will see Dallas again.

Dallas is survived by his two sons, Cameron and Malcom, his wife Tessa, His parents, and his siblings. I ask that you pray for his family during these times. Dallas undeniably was a beacon of hope, a calm to any storm, and a person that the world needs more of. I pray his family finds peace during these times.

The funds from this will go directly to his family to help them with unexpected funeral cost and any remaining amounts to be dispersed as they see fit. I am simply facilitating this in his honor.

I ask that you help the Colletts in anyway you can. If you can not spare a donate, please "share" this fund, every single dollar counts more than you know.

Dallas touched the hearts of thousands of people. His name will live on forever and I will never forget him. Dallas taught me to live happier, to laugh more, to joke more, to not take life so seriously. I hope that you too will carry these things forward. Life is more fragile than we can ever imagine. Dallas would encourage you to go have fun today, make jokes, and make people smile.

Thank you for your time, I hope you find some peace and may God give you comfort.

The family intends to hold a service in Mississippi, the details are not confirmed at this time

The Forge Hobbies & Games intends to hold a vigil as well as constructing a memorial wall inside it's location, permanently. I love you Dallas, and the Forge Family loves you more than you know.

Y'all be good.
