Donate in loving memory of Jeff Linfoot

Hi, my name is Jodie and I am fundraising in honour of Jeff and the beautiful family he fought for - Lidia and Eloise.

After a 10 year heroic battle with cancer Jeff Linfoot peacefully passed on Tuesday 23rd January 2024.

Jeff, Lidia and Eloise were a constant example of determination, love and resilience in their battle to win precious moments together. A determination that outweighed the odds time and time again.

I, and probably many others, can not even begin to fathom the emotional, physical and financial cost of that kind of medical battle over that many years.

I also can not imagine the feeling of facing the future as the only parent. The everything. The loving one. The fun one. The adventurer one. The disciplinarian one. The quiet one. The loud one. Filling all the roles in the home that used to be shared. Including being the only breadwinner.

I also know I have never seen a stronger woman than Lidia. And that she will take on everything, as she has been, with grace and a steely grit, with love and selflessness. And be the everything Eloise needs right now and in the future.

That is without question.

And I feel helpless in the enormity of what lies ahead. But the one thing I can do is give this loving and supportive community who have watched this remarkable and heartbreaking journey the opportunity to offer their support, however small, in memory of Jeff and in support of his beautiful girls. His everything.

All proceeds direct to Lidia and Eloise as they rebuild their future.

(Also know this is without their knowledge as I am afraid Lidia would say no (Sorry Lids!). But I feel compelled to support in this way).
