Donate in loving support of Niki and Chris

My name is Donna. I am a long-time friend of Niki and Chris. I am creating this Gofundme in hopes of lightening the financial load for Niki and Chris as Jake recovers from his extensive injuries.

As some of you may know, 16-year-old Jake was brutally beaten and stabbed on April 30th near his home in Barrie, Ontario. He was airlifted to Toronto with life-threatening injuries, where he is still in hospital in stable but critical condition.

Jake was put into a medically induced coma and has required two surgeries so far to recover from his injuries. He is still sedated and on a ventilator, and it will be some time before he has recovered and will be able to go home.

His loving mother, Niki, and step-dad, Chris, have been by Jake's side throughout this ordeal. The money raised will cover expenses for Niki and Chris associated with staying close to the hospital to be by Jake's side to support him in his recovery.
