Donate in memory of Angel Gonzales

It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we share with you all the passing of Angel Gonzales.

On January 26th, Angel passed away unexpectedly after a short series of health complications. Angel was a husband, father, son, brother, friend, and dedicated city employee. He served the City of San Francisco and its residents for over ten years at San Francisco Public Works. He had a passion for gardening and was loved by his coworkers and community members.

Those close to him knew how much he enjoyed his job, his interest in technology and video games, and his not-so-secret love for Taylor Swift. He was the family’s master chef, whose favorite part of cooking was seeing the family gather around and enjoy the meals he prepared.

Of all the things Angel loved, his family was always at the forefront of what he did. Angel is survived by his wife, son, daughter, and mother - now faced with the challenge of living a life without him.

Given the sudden nature of Angel’s passing and his young age, none of us could have prepared for such a great loss. At this time, we are asking for donations to support his family in covering funeral expenses and transitioning to a single-income household.

If you would like to send your donation directly to his wife, we are including her QR Code for Zelle.

We thank you for all your support and appreciate your help.
