Donate in Memory of Cedric "Poppi" McCombs III

Hello friends, family, and community. It’s with deep sadness that we share news of the untimely passing of Cedric Vincent “Poppi” McCombs III.

On November 28, 2023, Cedric was taken from us after being the victim of a fatal hit and run on Southeastern Ave & Wildwood Drive in Indianapolis, IN. Poppi, as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, was a loving son and big brother to his two younger siblings. He attended Franklin Central High School, where he was a senior and preparing to graduate in May 2024. He enjoyed gaming, watching anime, listening to music, spending time with his friends, and his beloved dog Draco.

Poppi was loved deeply by many, especially his family and we will miss him dearly. Our hearts break thinking of our final goodbyes, but we want to ensure that Poppi is given the proper sendoff he deserves. We have set up a GoFundMe to assist with the funeral service and associated costs. All donations will go directly to the memorial service and his final resting place. We kindly ask that you give what you can, any amount will help.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Grace Missionary Baptist Church 1501 N College Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46202. While the service is private, the family welcomes cards and floral arrangements that can be sent to the church and displayed throughout the service.
