Hi, my name is Carrie and my amazing brother, Charles Weymouth lost his battle with mental illness on November 15, 2023. He was an incredible human who was passionate, kind, always there to help those in need and he lived for adventures, connecting with others and tried to live life to the fullest. Chuck left us too soon and there were many debts that need to be taken care of. I promised him I would always take care of his son, Sammy, and ensure he has every opportunity in life. I want to stay true to that promise but will need financial assistance to ensure that I can meet the need.
Charles Leon Weymouth
September 11, 1976-November 15, 2023
I'm heartbroken to announce the death of my brother, Charles Leon Weymouth. Chuck was born at Elliot Hospital in Manchester on September 11, 1976. Chuck was a determined, intelligent, kind, compassionate man who lived to connect with others. He could light up a room with his energy and infectious laugh. He enjoyed travel, adventures, hiking, fishing, hunting, a good BBQ and anything that allowed him to be in nature. Chuck fought fiercely for his family and his country. He was a giving man, who would do anything for anyone and was always looking for ways to help others. Once you were in Chuck’s life, you always had a place in his heart. He touched all of our lives in a manner in which we will never be the same. He was an inspiration and a reminder to live life to its fullest and will be sorely missed.
Chuck followed his dreams and passions with full effort and dedication. He would immerse himself in his interests and work. He became an Eagle Scout through Troop 113 Goffes Falls, N.H. He worked for many years at Sears in Manchester, N.H. He graduated from Manchester Memorial High School in 1994 and went on to earn a Bachelor Degree in Science from the University of New Hampshire in 1999. After graduation he worked as a microbiology technician at Mass General. He joined the United States Air Force in 2001 and discharged as a TSGT in 2009. He served as an Airborne Battle management systems specialty apprentice. During his time in the Armed Forces he received the following decorations National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with 1 service star, Global War in Terrorism Service Medal, Air Medal with 8 oak leaf clusters, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Award, AF Outstanding Unit Award with Valor Device with 4 oak leaf clusters, Combat Readiness Medal, AF Good Conduct Medal with 1 oak leaf cluster. He worked as a private contractor after his military service ended. He became a self-employed farmer, an electrician’s apprentice, and followed his dream of becoming a nurse in 2022 through Lakes Region Community College. Recently he worked as an RN at Wentworth Douglass Hospital.
With all his many achievements, he would say his greatest, was his son, Samuel Weymouth. He treasured every moment he had with him, and focused on instilling good morals, values and the importance of being good to your family, community and country.
Chuck is survived by his son, Samuel Weymouth, his parents Les and Deborah Weymouth of Hancock, N.H. His brother Matt Weymouth and nephew Cody of Hillsboro, N.H., His sister Carrie MacDonald and fiancé Tom Baptiste, and nephews Ryan, Jacob and Noah, of South Tamworth N.H., His sisters Jennifer Weymouth, nephews Asher and Tristan of Kissimee, Fl. and sister Sarah Weymouth of Indialantic, FL., numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who meant the world to him. He held his brothers and sisters in the armed forces in the highest regard and considered them family.
Memorial service to be held on December 5, 2023 at 11:00, located at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, N.H. 03303.
