Hello,

My name is Justice Ries. I, along with my twin brother Jaadon, are asking for help in regards to our mother's funeral costs.

Dory passed away on October 7th, 2023 in her hometown of Watertown, SD. Her death ends a significant battle with mental health issues and addiction.

Jaadon and I have worked hard to get our lives to a point of somewhat financial stability. I am willing to provide complete transparency when it comes to the costs that the funeral home is charging us. Even with the most basic of service accommodations, the costs are too great for my brother and I to accomplish on our own.

Any family who has lost a loved one to addiction can empathize with how tough it can be. My mother burned through all of her resources in a desperate attempt to cope with her life. She was a strong, single-mother during the first years of Jaadon and I’s lives. She never was supposed to bear children, and always prided herself with Jaadon and I's accomplishments. Seeing such a vibrant and loving mother struggle with addiction was just as difficult as her actual passing.

We are reaching out to our friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals who may want to help us during this difficult time. Your support will make a tremendous difference as we aim to provide our mother with a proper farewell.
