Remembering Douglas James Murray & Support For His Family

Donation protected

On Monday February 17th, we lost a beloved son, grandson, friend, father, & nephew, Douglas James Murray.
Douglas passed away tragically in an accidental house fire. He leaves behind two sons, Jayden 14, and Axel 2, as well as his mother who he lived with, Darcey Lensen Stammers.
Douglas was in a car accident in 2022 and suffered a traumatic brain injury, he was in a coma for several weeks and needed extensive rehabilitation. His mother Darcey was there for him every step of the way, both financially and emotionally. They moved in together in a house that had previously belonged to Darcey’s father in Saskatoon.
On February 17th, a space heater started a fire and tragically took Doug’s life, and caused extensive fire damage to the house, which is now boarded up. Darcey has been in the hospital since.
The sadness and grief will remain in everyone who was touched by Doug’s life and we will never forget his charisma and spirit. We are asking for donations for Darcey, a grieving mother who has lost everything, her only child, her home, and her belongings. We are also looking to have a memorial for Doug, as well as provide support so his sons can have a bright and promising future.

****March 26th at 2:00pm Douglas' Celebration of Life will be at Park's Funeral Home in Saskatoon, SK.****
