In memory of Filiberto Romero

On Wednesday, 9/11/24, around 11 am, my mother-in-law received a call saying her father had been hit by a school bus and unfortunately passed away, alongside his dog who were tragically killed as well. It has been a devastating time for our family. Seeing all the videos and news reports has been so hard to watch and read.

They’re now in the process of getting the funeral underway, and because this is such an unexpected cost, I really want to help support them in being able to bury him in Mexico. His life deserves to be remembered and celebrated, and we want to be able to give him the funeral he deserves. Thank you to all. You truly don’t know what it means.

El miércoles 11/9/24, alrededor de las 11 am, mi suegra recibió una llamada diciendo que su padre había sido atropellado por un autobús escolar y lamentablemente falleció. Ha sido un momento devastador para nuestra familia. Ver todos los videos y reportajes de noticias ha sido muy difícil de ver y leer.

Ahora están en el proceso de poner en marcha el funeral y, debido a que se trata de un costo tan inesperado, realmente quiero ayudarlos a poder enterrarlo en México. Su vida merece ser recordada y celebrada, y queremos poder brindarle el funeral que se merece. Gracias a todos. Realmente no sabes lo que significa.
