Hi, my name is Eddie Hemming and I am fundraising for my dad Fred Hemming.

We have reached the initial goal I couldn’t thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts every single one of you

We’re heartbroken to share that our beloved dad & husband, Fred Hemming, passed away unexpectedly on Friday 16th August. We are still unsure as to what the exact cause was, but of course we will update everyone once known and with funeral information.

His loss has left a void in our lives that can never be filled. Myself, my mom & brother cannot comprehend our lives without him.

It's hard to find the right words to capture the essence of who he was, especially in the face of such a sudden loss.

My dad, who was known by so many people over the years, was a man of quiet dignity. He was never one to seek attention or accolades, but his actions spoke volumes. Whether it was through a helping hand offered to a friend, neighbour or even a stranger, or the countless sacrifices he made for our family, he showed us what it meant to live with integrity and compassion.

In this difficult time, we are reaching out for support to cover funeral expenses and other immediate needs. This is not something we would normally do, and certainly not our dad, however we would really love to give him the send off he deserves.

Our dad was a kind, generous man who would go above and beyond for anyone. He was one in a million, and I’m sure many of you who knew him would agree. Your contributions, no matter the size, would mean the world to us as we navigate this challenging period.

We appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and any help you can provide during this time of grief. We thank you for the kindness we have received this far and really hope you can support us to honour the memory of a man who touched so many lives.
