Donate in memory of Jacob M. Galliher

Hi, my name is Victor “Tito” Cervantes. I am active duty USAF stationed at Kadena, Japan. I am fundraising to help ease the burden of this tragedy for the Galliher family. I met Jakey in 2018 while we were attending technical training for our jobs in the Air Force. Since then, I have had the honor of being best friends and creating a brotherly bond with Jakey. This money will go to his father Jon Galliher and wife Ivy Groshong-Galliher. They will decide how to best put these funds to use in memory of Jacob. Whether that’s funeral preparation, celebration of life, or any other way possible to make their lives just a little bit easier to be able to mourn the loss of Jacob. At the moment there is no set funeral service date, but I will provide an update when it is set. Papa Galliher is working diligently to give everyone that wants to attend the opportunity to attend.

Ivy and others have done an amazing job of capturing his image. Here’s what she posted about him on November 30th:

“As many know my husband, Jacob Galliher, was involved in a horrific CV-22 accident on November 29th. At the time he was “not able to be located”. Today we have received the news that he was finally identified as the body found on the 29th. I would like to say thank you to everyone who has reached out, it means the world to me and my two boys. Jacob is one of the strongest people I have ever known, he cared deeply for everyone he met and was constantly trying to get smiles and laughs out of people. It was amazing to watch and seeing all the people who loved and cared for him as well brings me so much joy during this hard time. His boys will grow up with all the amazing memories of him, knowing he loved them more than the world and know that their daddy was not only a warrior but an incredibly special individual. I truly hope they turn out just like him.
Thank you to the people who located him and brought him home to me. Another thank you to everyone who is out trying to locate the other airmen, my heart goes out to their families and I hope they are all found safe and brought home as well.
I love you Jacob❤️”
