Donate in memory of Joyce Torrington

Hi, I am a friend of the lovely Hazel, daughter of Joyce, some of you may know Hazel from working at Sheffield Wednesday for 24 years in the ticket office and the owls foundation. a life long Sheffield Wednesday fan and so was her mum.

What you might not know is this year her mum Joyce has been really ill, Hazel has been at her side in and out of hospital, having to be out of work and now sadly last week Joyce, lost her battle to her illness. Although she has been ill it has come as quite a shock to the family. Sister carol and brother Andrew. It as you can imagine is the hardest thing to have to lose a mum. But along with their sad loss they have stresses the family hadn’t thought about financially. I know she wouldn’t ask for the help herself, and is in a loss of what to do. She didn’t have life insurance and between the family are really struggling to find funds to give her mum a funeral. Never mind a send off she deserves. If you can find it in your heart to give anything to help. Even the smallest amount would be much appreciated. Hazel has so much love for the club and her customers. I hope the Sheffield Wednesday family can look after one of our own.
