Donate in memory of Jude Raia

On Monday, October 31st, Jude Raia, a 20 year old student at the University of Alabama, unexpectedly passed away in his dorm room.

He was a History major with a minor in German, as well as a McCollough Scholar. He was an RA for two years, currently serving in Blount Residence hall, and an active member of Theta Xi fraternity. He was an alumni of McCallie School, where he was on the rowing team, and he lived with his family in Birmingham, Alabama. He was planning on going to law school.

Jude was one of one. He was eternally positive, and he always had a smile on his face. He was one of the funniest people in the room and he answered the phone with "hey, hey, hey, what's going on, stallion?" Jude was a good listener, empathetic, and kind. He was proud of where he came from and even more excited about his future. The world was a better place because of Jude, and his loss will always be felt in the hearts of the many that loved him.

Jude's family has suffered a tremendous loss in his unexpected passing and Theta Xi is seeking to raise financial support to help cover funeral costs and other expenses. Any assistance that you can provide is appreciated.
