Donate in memory of Mua Yang

On January 22, 2024 at 4:30 pm, our big brother, Mua Yang's battle with stage 5 kidney disease ended. Although he may have lost the battle, he as won his freedom from pain and suffering. He has gained his wings and is now watching over us.

Our brother's battle with kidney disease started 3 years ago after struggling with diabetes. He was a gentle giant, humble, and prideful. He did not want to burden others and fought the disease on his own. Even when he was in pain everyday, and deprived from the joy of living, he would still crack a joke or two, and smile.

Our brother's pride and joy was his precious daughter April, who just turned 17 and has special needs. He fought everyday through pain and dialysis so that he can be there to care for her and guide her. His proudest moment was knowing that she was going to graduate high school this summer and he was going to be there to witness her walk across the stage to receive her diploma. His life was cut too short to see that moment.

The last few days have been surreal. A dream we want to wake up from, but can't. As painful as it is, we must find a way to follow through with his wish. Mua knew this day would eventually come, and planned ahead to ensure he wasn't a burden even in death to his loved ones. His wish was to have a one day service and be cremated.
