Hello all, my name is Ken and I’m fundraising for my best friend of 20+ years and his family in a time of need.
Within the first couple hours of 2023 we were all shocked by the sudden loss of Natasha. Natasha Yvette Walker was named first homicide victim of the year, a crime of senseless violence. From being on the board of the Margaret Clinard Outreach Foundation, hosting the annual Back to School Extravaganza, Co-founding Hustle in Heels: Tools for Women and Young Entrepreneurs, being featured in Huami Magazine, collaborating with various first time business owners such as 3LEvents and Creative Space, Natasha never passed on an opportunity to show up for those she loved. She had a spirit that could teach teachers. On November 7th, 2021 Natasha became the wife of Jesse Walker and the fairytale was just getting started. The Newlyweds made you believe in Love. They were the couple you loved to see. You fell in love with how they loved. They made love look so easy. Wife looked so good on Tasha. With a planned agenda, two young daughters, aged 7 and 12, and an attitude of resilience- their future was bright. The sudden loss of Natasha, the newlywed, the mother, the sister and friend, sent an entire city into shock and unbelievable tarnish. She built- with one smile, one favor, one phone call, one word of encouragement at time, an Empire of both women and men who were unknowingly bonded by the force of the love she showed so freely. Natasha touched the lives of thousands of people. Friends Say “Tasha was born with overflow. She wanted to share her joy for life itself with anyone whose path she crossed. Tasha would even give you a cup if you had a way to gather the abundance of favor that bestowed her “She was the loudest clapper in the room”. While the hearts of those closest to her are torn, they mourn more for those who never had their own Natasha Experience.
It is the mission of everyone she inspired to continue into this world with a piece of her, and continue the uplifting of others. Our goal is to finish what our Natasha started. Because she always had a reservation for a friend, we now honor Natasha Walker by gifting her husband and children a financial stepping stool that no amount of planning could have prepared this family for. Please support The Walker Family in their long journey of healing and the many milestones that are to come in their journey though life.
