"He Only Took My Hand"
Last night while I was trying to sleep,
My soul was taken away.
I heard my Savior call my name,
And I knew I couldn't stay.
I looked into His loving face,
And saw His gentle smile,
He said, "My child, come home with Me,
For just a little while."
I felt the pain and grief no more,
I only felt His love,
He lifted me from Earth below
To Heaven up above.
He whispered, "You're not lost, my dear,
You're only in My care.
Your loved ones will be safe with Me,
Until they're with you here."
