In memory of Samantha Jane Dailey

On May 6, 2024, our beloved Samantha Jane Dailey was tragically taken from us in a senseless act of violence. Samantha, a resident of Berkeley County, West Virginia, was found brutally murdered in a field, by the accused, David Antonio Calderone. Her horrific passing has left the family and community devastated and heartbroken.

Samantha was a devoted mother of two beautiful children, Jibril 13 and Laila 11 and their father, her best friend and parenting partner Amir Mosleh. She was an avid lover of nature and animals, and enjoyed hiking in the beautiful landscapes of West Virginia. She was a bright light in our lives, known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit. She touched the hearts of everyone who knew her, and her loss is felt deeply by all.

To honor Samantha and her memory, her family is organizing a memorial service on Saturday, August 3rd at 2pm at the Melvin T Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Ranson, WV. This event will be an opportunity for family, friends, and the community to come together to remember her life, share memories, and offer support to her family. The memorial will also serve as a reminder of the impact of this tragedy and the urgent need for justice. We are raising funds to cover any assistance the family could use during this difficult time as well as charity proceeds to the Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County, as Samantha was an animal safety advocate.
