Help Us Bring Our Sister Home

Dear friends and kind-hearted supporters,

It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we share the tragic news of our beloved sister Zulfa Alnour Burtail, who was taken from us far too soon. Zulfa was tragically killed in Finland by her husband who is now in custody. Alone in Finland with no family by her side, she left behind loved ones who are devastated by this unimaginable loss.

We are coming together as a community to honor Zulfa by helping bring her home to Sudan for a proper farewell. Our goal is to raise funds to cover the costs of transporting her body back to Sudan and to support her family during this incredibly difficult time. Specifically, we want to assist her mother with travel expenses to Finland so she can bring her daughter home.

All proceeds will go directly towards the repatriation of Zulfa’s body and supporting her family with funeral and travel expenses. Your generosity will not only help cover these costs but also provide a small measure of comfort to her grieving family, who are navigating this heart-wrenching journey.
