Donate in the memory of my beautiful brother Bruce Ohl

Hi, my name Brenda and my beautiful brother Bruce Ohl passed away April 15th, 2024. He had a short bought with aggressive cancer. His father, Elmer and daughter, Casandra and her mom, Kathy and myself have spent these last several days with him. Bruce was surrounded with deep love and engulfed in peace upon leaving this place. May God rest his soul. We are accepting donations to put him to rest here in Simi Valley.

Bruce always had a smile and moment for all people he encountered. He has a knack for seeing others just as they are. Bruce had a way with babies. His simple presence was safe and secure, many times for my own child. I couldn't have made it thru without him and Elmer.

Anyone that knew Bruce, knew he had struggles in life. He was independent by nature and refused to burden anyone, even in his end times, there was conflict in pushing the nurses call button. In adventist hospital, in the nurses station, they have a white board that says, "who is your favorite patient today". There was the word BRUCE about 10x....

He wanted to get back to work. He just wanted to finish his treatment to get back to work. He said it several times. Work. He felt needed and wanted. For Bruce this was everything. Elmer taught him everything he knew and Tony and Jimmy brought Bruce into a beautiful place of being his OWN man.

Bruce has his after hours family of Pokemon go commerades as well. They was a common thread between them in hunting pokemon that blossomed into care and concern for each other. The love and acceptance between them is extraordinary.

Thanking you all in advance for considering helping our family. We will have a small service in a place he loved so much. He deserves pretty flowers and to be the star of the show.
