Donate Now: Aid Sudan's Humanitarian Crisis
Tax deductible
Sudan's current crisis erupted on April 15, 2023, between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Both groups were allies in ousting long-time dictator Omar al-Bashir in 2019, but tensions grew over integrating the RSF into the national army. This resulted in violent clashes that triggered widespread instability throughout the country.
Today, Sudan faces a severe humanitarian crisis as the conflict between the SAF and RSF continues. Over nine million people have been displaced, and more than 750,000 face life-threatening hunger. The conflict has left millions without access to essential services such as healthcare and clean water. Efforts for ceasefire attempts have failed, leading to ongoing violence and worsening conditions.
Fundraising is urgently needed to provide humanitarian aid, including food, water, and medical supplies, to the displaced Sudanese people. Our starting goal within our community is to fundraise $100.
