Donate to Addison's Journey to Safety

Hello! My name is Addison Frost and I am a Trans Woman from Tennessee. I am trying to move out of Tennessee to Charlotte, NC so that I can be in a place where I am safer as a transgender person and a queer identified person.

I am a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I love helping other people. When I started my graduate program I was also in School Counseling and had a Graduate Assistant position. I no longer am in school counseling and I no longer have a GA position because of my trans identity. Since losing my GA position I have been slowly siphoning money and I am getting to a point where I am worried that I might not be able to afford to leave TN despite how unsafe it is here for me.

I have been unable to find another GA position or another job where I live. There are no jobs that will hire me as a trans person that I can do as a grad student (or that will be safe), and any jobs that would have worked turned me away.

The very last thing I want to do is ask for help or assistance, but I cannot stay in this state. Anything that you could give to support me would be so incredibly appreciated.
