Donate to Aid Black Mountain's Hurricane Relief

Hi, Kari Quinn here. If you know me, you will know I have a second home in Black Mountain, NC. Over that past few years, I have come to love this beautiful community and the people in it. Unfortunately, Black Mountain, along with Montreat, and other smaller towns in the Greater Asheville Area were devastated by Hurricane Helene. While they are not getting much media coverage, I hear from friends who live in Black Mountain and the situation is heart-wrenching. People are walking down the mountain trying to get into town for help. Children have been found walking alone, others in low lying areas have perished in floods, and hospitals are overwhelmed. Basic supplies like baby formula, diapers, feminine supplies, water, non-perishable food items, and clothing are desperately needed. The United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, NC. This charity was suggested by the Town of Black Mountain for Helene Donations. This is one of those situations I've previously seen on TV, but never imagined it would be so close to home. This is very close to my heart. Any amount you can donate is beneficial.
