Help Me Support My Father-In-Law Through His Health Crisis

Message from my husband, Chris Starks:

Hi everyone,

This is not easy for me to write. I’ve always been someone who handles things on my own and never asks for help—but right now, I truly need it.

My father is in Virginia and he’s facing serious heart issues that have left him extremely weak. He struggles just to get out of bed and can barely walk. He needs constant support and a stair-climbing chair to safely move around his home.

I live in Florida, and traveling back and forth to help care for him has become both physically and financially difficult. As much as I want to be there for him every step of the way, the costs are adding up fast—gas, lodging, time off work, and now the need to help him get essential medical equipment.
