Donate to Aid Families Affected by Bellevue Fire

My name is Addrian and a bunch of my friends were displaced from an apartment fire with some having lost everything.

This took place July 16 around 1:30am. Praise the Lord for Phillip Bonner. He happened to have trouble sleeping this evening and was the first one to spot the fire. He immediately acted and woke everyone up in the apartment building. If memory serves me correctly, he didn't even have shoes on. He made sure everyone from the fire portion was out then worked on the other units. Nobody was injured and all pets were accounted for.

The second hero of this story is Jermaine. I honestly think Phillip would say he's the most important for his efforts after everyone was evacuated. He is the director of maintenance and went above and beyond to help those in need 24 (a couple were vacant) units in total had to leave. Avana Lexington did a wonderful handling the situation and Jermaine is obviously a team member there. He had everyone make a list of important items to salvage immediately (things like medications or other healthcare related items). Then, he promised everyone he would do everything he could to retrieve everything for them. For example, when he was walking through, he got all the important things for a woman. He also took it upon himself to grab her cat's ashes. He knew that she would appreciate that. Jermaine worked himself to exhaustion. Everyone found out that he is currently battling stage 3 cancer.

Jermaine and Phillip are heroes. Families need help in the meantime while insurance is completing their process. I want to help put money in the hands of each unit to get them by as they are dealing with insurance. At the end of the day, it's a miracle nobody was harmed and that all pets were evacuated safely. This is a stressful time for a lot of people, and I am asking on the Nashville community to lend a hand. Any donation is a good donation! Please spread this to everyone you know because it only takes a little money and an army to help these people out!
