Donate to Aid Hailly's PANS Treatment Journey

Hi my name is Megan, and I am reaching out to our community to help one of us in need. Angie's world came crashing down when her daughter Hailly started presenting strange psychological symptoms on September 7th. After a week in the Children’s Hospital of Richmond, extensive tests, ICU visit and scares, Angie and Hailly got to return home. Hailly is having a PANS flare, which is rare and the worst one she has faced, all due, in theory, to a tick born illness that went untreated a few years prior. PANS is a rare condition that causes a sudden onset of neuropsychiatric symptoms in children. Angie and her husband Seth work around the clock both at home and with their professions and are trying to make sure Hailly is safe and secure at home. According to Angie, Hailly only has a few hours of the day where she feels her "normal teenage self," but reverts back to younger stages. They are having good days and bad days but in Angie's case, still answers her clients wants and needs for her business "Shoot for Five Photography." A huge roadblock the family is facing is that treatment for Hailly isn't widely known and isn't close by our Gloucester town. The funding for travel, gas, food, and the medical expenses themselves are an endless worry for the family. The type of insurance Hailly has, requires information that they don't have yet, so everything is out of pocket. Angie will never ask for help financially, she only asks for prayers. She asks that you share donations and support for the Ronald McDonald house that so far, has taken wonderful care of them. Angie needs us, Hailly needs us, so I will ask for donations to help through the uncharted waters. Between the business Angie runs, the first responding family her husband and children do, and how active Hailly was in cheerleading make them such a key piece in Gloucester. Please donate, share and raise awareness for PANs so research can continue to help these children make it through this awful disease.
