Donate to Aid Katie and Mark's Healing Journey

I'm Bonnie, Katie's mom, and I'm setting this page up to help her and Mark financially after a near fatal accident.

Last week, Katie, Mark, and their daughter were in a serious motorcycle accident. They all suffered injuries which will keep them out of work and school for a while. On the night of the accident, the family was on their way to back-to-school night for their daughter when traffic from an overturned rig caused vehicles ahead to stop suddenly and swerve into them on the freeway. With little space to maneuver their motorcycles, all three hit the pavement.

Resolving this accident will take time and money; meanwhile, bills beckon as do doctor's appointment co-pays, prescription costs, medical supplies, and groceries. Mark and Katie have served the community by caring for its elderly in care homes and hospitals throughout the region. Just days before the accident, Katie had graduated with her associate's degree and her Physical Therapy Assistant degree and had just begun working in her new field.
