Hello, we are asking everyone to please donate to help such an amazing person! Renee was just recently diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS). A rare blood cancer. She had been feeling sick for weeks, her symptoms continued to get worse. Which prompt her to go to the hospital, where they ran many tests and found out that she has this rare cancer. Renee is in her early 50s with her whole life ahead of her. She's a single mom of two kids who she has supported both them and her home for many years. Renee is also a newly loving grandmother to a sweet little girl. She has worked at the Boxford Community Kitchen for over 15 years. Renee is one of the most hard working and loving woman out there. She was put on a bone marrow donor list.. Where I'm happy to announce they have found a match for her a few days ago! She will be out of work for at least a year as she goes through such a tough and long battle. After the procedure she will under go chemotherapy and radiation. Which means many months of recovery. Renee has always been there for whoever needed help no questions asked. I'm asking for your help to help her stay on her feet durning and after her recovery.
