Donate to Aid Roger and Mysti's Healing Journey

My name is John, and I'm the lucky brother/brother-in-law to a couple of pretty amazing people. Over the last several months, they have gone through more than most could endure and keep pushing. I'm not a doctor, but I'll do my best to explain it. Roger (brother-in-law) has pretty severe diverticulitis, and the infection has kept him in and out of the hospital. It got to the point where they have kept him in the hospital and did surgery on him on 4/24/25. Mysti (sister) at the same time had a pretty bad hernia as well as some other pretty serious medical issues that have had her in the hospital as well. She had surgery on 4/22/25; they even put them in the same hospital room! Out of respect for their privacy and my general lack of knowledge of medical lingo, I'll leave that there.

They have both been out of work for nearly 2 months. We are all hoping they are on a journey uphill and can get back on their feet quickly. If you know these two, they will never ask for anything... and haven't asked for this either. I know that it's been a struggle for them and hoping this may lift some of their burdens.
