Donate to Aid Western NC's Hurricane Recovery

Hello,

I'm Gavin Schulz and I'm a senior at Franklin & Marshall College. As I'm sure you know, western North Carolina has been hit hard by Hurricane Helene. While I'm not from western NC (Durham), I spend the majority of my summers working in Wilkesboro, NC, and the weekends in Boone and Ashe County. I have lived in the area, I plan to in the future, and I know the people. It is a truly beautiful part of the country, and the scale of devastation is hard to comprehend. Communities have been completely cut off or destroyed, and those still in the area need food, water supplies, and donations to help them through this troubling time. I plan to use this money to buy supplies (food, water, cold weather gear, work supplies), so I can deliver them in person to the people of western North Carolina during my fall break. All remaining funds will be directly donated to nonprofits in Ashe County, Wilkes County, Caldwell County, and Watauga County areas. Any amount will help! Thank you!
