Have you ever needed to get out of a situation?

My name is Alex Ewing, and you may know me from sharing things I find at thrift stores, attending college in my thirties, or talking about British soap operas on the internet. I have a good sense of humor and severe astigmatism.

Things have been difficult since I graduated from that college two years ago. I've supported my family as best as I can through issues both financial and physical, but I've also hurt myself doing so. I've tried so hard to help others at the expense of establishing my own life.

A friend of mine noticed this (okay, several noticed) and offered for me to move in with her earlier this year. After a few months of consideration, I took her up on it. Which means I am moving to Ohio soon! However, after years of helping others where I could, I am financially depleted. I don't have the funds for a plane ticket, let alone shipping things or storing others. I'm aiming for support that would allow me to not worry too much in the first couple of months I am in Columbus and trying to get my feet under me as I find a job.
