Alithia Beverly-Holivay. Some know her as Beverly or Bev, Shell, Rochelle, and even Shelly. But we know her as mom, grandma, friend, prayer warrior.
At the beginning of October, Alithia was diagnosed with Stage 2 Colon Cancer. Shortly after, she was diagnosed with a clot in a major artery. Alithia has endured months of emergency room visits and doctor appointments but always stayed strong, had a kind word, and a smile.
On 12/16, Alithia and her daughter Kayla were informed that she now had Stage 4 Colon Cancer and it was spreading rapidly throughout her abdomen. This was devastating news, but she was determined to do all she could to fight it.
12/17 - Alithia began having a hard time breathing on her own. The decision was made to place her under temporary sedation and on a ventilator.
01/02- Alithia was taken off the ventilator and placed on comfort measures in a private room.
01/07- Alithia passed away surrounded by the love of her children and close family. She will be truly missed ️
