On July 15, 2024, Ana was admitted to St. Davids Hospital in Austin, Texas, battling a mass/lesion on her brain's central pons, which has caused partial paralysis on her left side.

Without health insurance, Ana faces a substantial medical bill ahead. As a member of Gateway Church of Austin, led by Senior Pastor Carlos Ortiz, the community is uniting to lift her up in this time of need. Friends Sean and Libni "Libby" Shetler, along with Caleb Villela, are organizing a fundraiser to support Ana in her fight.
