Ashley's Medical Bills and funeral expenses

Please help the family of our niece, who is fighting for her life after being stuck by lightning.

 

Every parent’s nightmare was realized last Thursday when Ashley was doing exactly what we all hope for: being a teenager, happily enjoying the dwindling days of summer vacation, outside with her friends.  She and three of her friends caught out in a storm and struck shortly before what should have been dinner time.

 

Four were injured and Ashley went into cardiac arrest. Medics and trauma staff were able to revive her though she remains hospitalized and will require intensive care for the foreseeable future due to the extent of her injuries from the strike and time without a pulse.  She’s fighting and with faith, luck, and support we hope to see her smiling and laughing at the dinner table, again.

 

Ashely - daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and cousin – is very well loved and receiving excellent care.  But no one is prepared for an event as rare as this and love cannot cover all the medical expenses.  Please keep Ashley in your prayers and please donate anything you are able to help her parents to offset medical bills.
