A Cry for Help: Bring Hope to Bahaa and His Family

Hello, my name is Jamal Mahmoud, and I’m reaching out on behalf of a brave little boy named Bahaa, my dear friend’s sister’s son. Bahaa is only 4 years old, but his young life has already been marked by unimaginable pain and loss.Bahaa’s father went missing after the military operation that tore their home apart. For eight long months, they held onto hope, but on December 15th, 2023, his father's body was finally found. Bahaa speaks often of his dad, remembering his warmth, his voice, and the happiness they once shared as a family. The void left by his father’sabsence is one that no child should ever have to bear. Now, Bahaa, his mother, and his older brother Nasr are living in a tent in the southern Gaza Strip. The war took everything from them, their home, their safety, and even their health. Both Bahaa and Nasr are suffering from skin diseases, worsened by the harsh living conditions. Their mother, battling a severe autoimmune disease, has not been able to access the treatment she desperately needs since the war began. Every day is a struggle for survival without adequate shelter, without proper medical care, and without the basic necessities that most of us take for granted.

Bahaa’s mother, once strong and full of hope, now finds herself unable to provide her children with the life they deserve. They lack food, warmth, and even the strength to fight the constant illnesses that plague them. What they once called home was burned to the ground, along with the memories of happier times, and they have not been able to visit Bahaa’s father's grave to find even the smallest measureof peace.Despite all of this, Bahaa still dreams of a better life one where his mother can get the care she needs, where he and Nasr can grow strong and healthy, and where they no longer have to live in constant fear of what tomorrow will bring. But they cannot do it alone. They need your help. Your kindness and generosity can change everything for Bahaa and his family. Your support will not only provide them with the basic necessities food, shelter, and medical care, but it will also give them hope. Hope that they can rebuild their lives, even in the face of unimaginable loss.
