A Call for Humanity: Support Batool and Her Family in Gaza

Hi, I'm Houssem, and I've started this campaign to fundraise for Batool Hiji and her family, who have been forcibly displaced to Deir el-Balah, Gaza.

A Message from Batool's Family:

Batool is a bright and joyful 5-year-old girl from the north of Gaza. She has four siblings: Zyaid, 10 years old; Maryam, 9 years old; Zain, 6 years old; and Raffef, 3 years old. Tragically, their home in the north of Gaza was bombed and destroyed at the beginning of the war, forcing them to flee. They have been displaced eight times since then.

Now, Batool and her family, including her 30-year-old mother Khadijeh, are living in a tent in Deir el-Balah, enduring the most desperate and inhumane conditions imaginable. With the oppressive heat, they have no access to clean water or sufficient food. They are surviving on the scarce aid that occasionally reaches them, which is far from adequate. Their current living situation lacks even the basic necessities of life.

Our Plea for Help:

We urgently need your support. I created this campaign to help Batool's family survive this genocide, improve their living conditions, and, if possible, rebuild their home or find a way to escape the war.

Imagine having to leave your home, abandoning everything you love and cherish, and living in constant fear and uncertainty. Imagine what it would be like if your children had no safe place to sleep, no clean water to drink, and no food to survive on. Batool and her siblings know no other reality.
