BeeMe Connections operates Bee Party, which is more than just a party store; it's a beacon of inclusivity and opportunity. As a startup, we are dedicated to solving the problem of providing meaningful employment for young adults with autism, individuals facing mental health challenges, and those with disabilities, alongside typical young adults.

Why We Need Your Support

In a world where disability diagnoses are often seen as limitations rather than unique abilities, young adults are left to navigate a landscape devoid of support and opportunity. Enrichment programs and vocational schools have all but disappeared, and the transition from education to adulthood is fraught with challenges. The potential for the next Beethoven or groundbreaking innovator may remain undiscovered, hidden beneath layers of systemic neglect. The COVID-19 pandemic has only worsened their plight, further isolating them from the workforce and exacerbating the challenges they face. Without intervention, a vast pool of talent remains untapped, leaving both individuals and society at a loss.

At Bee Party, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive work environment. Our mission is to provide comprehensive on-site training, unwavering support, financial literacy education, and hands-on work experience. Through these efforts, we empower our participants to develop vital life skills, achieve meaningful employment, and become productive, independent citizens in our community. Our worker bees will receive a paycheck, reinforcing the value of their contributions and supporting their financial independence.

Store Setup: These funds will cover the costs of leasing a storefront, renovations, and purchasing initial inventory.
Employee Salaries: Ensuring fair wages for our diverse team, including job coaching and on-the-job training.
Marketing and Outreach: Promoting Bee Party to attract customers and raise awareness about our mission.
Operational Costs: Essential costs such as utilities, insurance, and administrative expenses to keep Bee Party running smoothly.

The donations will be overseen by David Venter and Team have over 25 years each of experience in professional and entrepreneurial endeavors. Regular updates and financial reports will be provided to ensure complete transparency and accountability.

About Us:

BeeMe Connections, established as a non-profit organization, was founded on the principle that everyone deserves a chance to succeed. Our Executive Director, David Venter, a seasoned marketing professional and designer, leads our efforts to develop and implement impactful programs. We are actively recruiting a board of directors and a team of volunteers. Jennifer Corbin, a seasoned Outpatient Mental Health Therapist, will serve as a key member of our team.

David's Personal Journey

David has dedicated his life to supporting his son, Joshua, who was diagnosed with autism and significant delays. Navigating the public system, David fiercely advocated for Joshua throughout his youth, ensuring he received an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and continued therapy. Despite these efforts, all services ceased when Joshua graduated from high school, leaving them without support, especially challenging during the COVID-19 pandemic. Witnessing Joshua's successful high school graduation, David is now focused on helping him achieve his dream of finding meaningful employment and becoming independent. This personal journey inspired David to establish BeeMe Connections to help young adults like Joshua find meaningful employment and foster inclusivity for individuals facing unique challenges.
